With a deep commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Joe specializes in neurorehabilitation, functional neurology, and holistic approaches to brain health. While his professional career began as a chiropractor, Dr. Joe's experience coaching high school football for many years, as well as seeking answers for a daughter with neurological needs, led him to pursue his Board Certification in functional neurology, with fellowship training in both concussion rehab and neurodevelopmental disorders. He is a trusted speaker - known for his engaging, impactful communication and dedication to empowering others - both in professional settings and community outreach. Doctor of Chiropractic | Board-Eligible in Functional Neurology
Dr. Sam is a trusted and respected clinician, known not only for his deep expertise in chiropractic and functional neurology but also for the genuine care he extends to each patient. Highly regarded by his patients and peers both locally and beyond, he brings a unique combination of clinical precision, personal empathy, and a steady, thoughtful presence to the Lifestream Brain + Body Clinic team. His lifelong passion for movement and performance began with competitive athletics, including basketball, football, and weightlifting. After experiencing a series of sports-related injuries that limited his own physical capabilities, Dr. Sam found lasting relief and restoration through movement-based chiropractic care. This personal journey fostered a deep compassion for others living with pain and led him to pursue a career focused on helping patients regain the ability to live actively and pain-free. As he gained clinical experience, Dr. Sam began to see an increasing need to help patients address the root causes of conditions with underlying neurological components. This realization inspired him to pursue board-certification in functional neurology—an extensive post-doctoral program that allows him to assess and treat complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions through a comprehensive, brain-based approach. After spending years learning the injury risks post-concussion, Dr. Sam can see how his sports injuries where initiated by poor recovery and lack of rehab after a concussion sustained during a football game. Dr. Sam views each patient as a unique individual and is committed to helping them find answers—even in the most challenging cases. While completing his doctorate many years ago, Dr. Sam had the opportunity to intern with physicians who served on the Olympic medical team. This formative experience shaped his philosophy that every patient deserves the same high standard of care—whether their goal is elite performance or simply the ability to enjoy everyday life. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Sam serves in various leadership roles. At his core, however, his greatest professional fulfillment comes from working directly with patients—helping them achieve meaningful improvements in health and function through personalized, evidence-informed care. Outside the clinic, Dr. Sam treasures time with his wife, Michelle, and their five children—four daughters and one son. Their faith is at the foundation of their life together, and they enjoy teaching their children the value of hard work by keeping chickens and other projects around the house, serving their local church and community, and spending time with friends and extended family.
